Congratulations to the Seals Swimmers for qualifying to attend the ISCA Showcase this summer. This was our first time attending the long course meet in St. Petersburg, Florida. It was a great experience for all. Here’s a summary: 12 swimmers, 70 events, 55 best times, 4 top ten finishers, 13 medals, 12 exhausted swimmers and families, met one new Olympic swimmer and walked away with 3 extremely proud coaches!

RJ Blake won 4th place in the 50 backstroke and 50 breaststroke. Josh Kim won 6th place in the 50 backstroke. Riley Nelson won 8th place in the 100 freestyle, 6th place for the 200 freestyle, 5th place in the 400 freestyle and 2nd place in the 100 butterfly! Sabrina Schuster won 4th place in the 50 and 100 freestyle, 9th place in the 200 freestyle and the 50 breaststroke, 10th place in the 50 backstroke, and 7th place in the 50 butterfly! Our girls 13/14 relays also took top ten. The 200 freestyle relay took 7th place and the 400 freestyle relay took 9th place . The swimmers in the relays were Sarah Kim, Rylie Benigni, Addison Markoja and Sabrina Schuster.

Congratulations to all 12 Seals swimmers: Adrianna Bailey-Stewart, Andrew Bellemare, Rylie Benigni, RJ Blake, Ava Gill, Maddison Kelly, Josh & Sarah Kim, Addison & Kaylee Markoja, Riley Nelson and Sabrina Schuster. Not everyone had top ten finishes but they still had great races and amazing team sportsmanship. They should all be proud because they are all winners!
