The New Britain-Berlin YMCA Infant and Toddler programs create a safe, nurturing environment for families and children to grow together. We enjoy accompanying parents through their journey and the developmental milestones during the growth and development period most crucial from infancy to toddlerhood. Our goal is to assist children in developing their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills while preparing for a sound educational future.

What Parents Say About Little Scholars
I like that the staff puts you at ease. As a first time mom it was really hard to have someone else take care of my child. I feel like I am dropping him off with family.
I love the projects that he brings home and I constantly get pictures through the app. He is having fun and is in good hands. I have no worries.
My son is treated as if he is family. He is so close with the teachers. He adjusted well to the toddler room, and it's great to see that he's made some good friends.
If a friend asked me about the program I would one hundred percent recommend it. The staff is amazing and they truly care about children. It is definitely the place for child care. - Lizzie Crespan

The Little Scholars staff are very nice and treat our infant daughter so well. She loves it. I love how they engage the children with little projects, art work, textures, blocks, and reading. You can tell the staff have a passion for what they are doing and love what they do. Miss Rosie even dressed up as the Cat in the Hat for Read Across America. They keep the children entertained and when they need hugs they always give them extra love and cuddles. - Anna Wloch

My daughter started at the New Britain YMCA Little Scholars program when she was four months old and I had to return to work. I heard about the program from my sister who used to take her kids there and referred me to the program. I love it there! It feels like family. They treat my daughter like family and go above and beyond for her needs. I would definitely recommend this program hands down. They are amazing! - Diana Torres
Little Scholars has been a wonderful program for my son Noah and is a great program for a working parent. I work full time at the hospital. What I love about this program is the different learning strategies, the variety of people he meets and the food program. I know he is being well taken care of while I work. Each teacher my son has had isn’t just his teacher, they love him. This is a great place for your child to transition before he goes to school. I would recommend this program. - Sam Sowik
