Meriden-New Britain-Berlin YMCA Receives STEAM Grant from Cox Charities

The Meriden–New Britain–Berlin YMCA sends our thanks to Cox Charities for their continued support of our STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) programs. 

Steven Markoja, COO of the Meriden-New Britain-Berlin YMCA, and Carmen Chaparro, Branch Executive Director of the Meriden YMCA, accepted a grant of $7500 to continue our programming to share the wonder of STEAM with kids and families in our communities. 

The grant will be used for: Summer Bridge STEAM Academy Program; Meriden YMCA STEAM Center, Middle School Outreach Nights and Family STEAM Nights; Robotics Competition Team; Environmental Education Initiative; YMCA STEAM Summer Camps.
