Meriden-New Britain-Berlin YMCA Offers Summer Fun at Camp Thundermoon
Summertime marks the highlight of every child’s year. It’s a time to play outside, spend time with friends, and for many, head to summer camp for adventure and activities. The Meriden-New Britain-Berlin YMCA is eager and ready to help your child experience the benefits of summer camp: outdoor fun and exercise, making friends, building confidence, and creating lifetime memories. More than ever, kids need the outlet for physical activity, fresh air, and social interaction that summer camp provides.
At Camp Thundermoon in Berlin, campers enjoy a variety of fun activities. Some of their favorites include kickball, water balloon toss, gaga ball, arts and crafts, camp shows and the end of summer camp carnival.
Camp Thundermoon offers traditional and specialty camps. Traditional camps are for campers entering kindergarten through grade 10. Specialty Camps are available for every interest including Art Camp, No Bake Cooking Camp, Rocketry and Flight 101 Camp, STEAM Explorations Camp, Soccer Camp, Baseball Camp, Basketball Camp and Football Camp.
The camp is in a new location this year at McGee Middle School in Berlin, Connecticut. Bus transportation is available for New Britain families.
Registration opens April 1, 2023 and is available online at nbbymca.org and in person at the New Britain YMCA at 50 High Street in New Britain. Families who register early can save on summer camp.
