Meriden-New Britain-Berlin YMCA Launches Community Needs Survey

The Meriden-New Britain-Berlin YMCA wants to hear from you. We have just launched an online survey to gather feedback from the Meriden, New Britain and Berlin communities to determine community needs.

Based on this community needs assessment, the Meriden-New Britain-Berlin YMCA will design and deliver new programs and services that address critical issues in the areas of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

"We're encouraging members of the community to take the online survey and provide feedback so we can better understand the needs of our community and design programs and services based on those needs," said CEO John Benigni.

The survey is available in English and Spanish and it should take no more than 5 minutes of your time to complete. Responses are not individually tracked and are kept confidential.

Respondents may be anonymous or if a respondent chooses to provide their name and email address, the individual is entered into a drawing for a chance to win a gift certificate for $250 worth of Y services which may be applied to membership, summer camp, or youth programs. There will be winners chosen in each of the three communities that the Meriden-New Britain-Berlin YMCA serves. You must be 18 or older to complete the survey. The survey is active until 11:50 p.m. on March 23rd.

Questions about the survey can be directed to Joan Goodman, Membership and Marketing Director, at 203.235.6386, joangoodman@meridenymca.org or jgoodman@nbbymca.org.

April 9th update: Thank you to everyone who completed the survey! We appreciate you taking the time to give us your feedback. The data analysis will begin today and we will report on the results soon as well as announce the winner of the gift certificate. Stay tuned!
